Emma Zambelli
My name is Emma Zambelli, I am 22 years old and I come from the province of Milan.
I am currently in my third year of the Bachelor in Economics and Social Sciences and I have never been a student representative at Bocconi.
Three years ago, I found myself on this campus feeling disoriented, without knowing anyone and I asked myself "what are the things I would have liked to have known before?"
So I started sharing my experience at Bocconi on social media, between studying, exams I withdrew from and missed trains to get to class trying to reconcile all the opportunities offered and the life of a commuter.
I never thought that this, on a small scale, could be student representation.
For me, representation means making the voice of the average student, like me, heard. Helping others means simplifying things, trying to make the academic path as good as possible, despite the obstacles.
Things are built, together.
Faculty Council: Academic Council
The Academic Council, chaired by the Rector, is the main body for the development of strategic policies within the University . It includes the Director General, the School Directors and the Department Directors. The council reviews and approves proposals from the three school councils , makes final decisions on student disciplinary sanctions and ensures alignment with the strategic objectives of the University . Representatives present proposals, coordinate with school representatives and ensure fair sanctions for students, acting as a point of reference for student needs.
