Maria Vittoria Cesareo
Hi, I’m Maria Vittoria Cesareo —though everyone calls me Mavi. I’m in my second year of BIEM and I live in the Pensionato, the Bocconi residence that has become my second home.
I’ve always enjoyed lending a hand in my own small way; that’s why, ever since high school, student representation has been a true passion of mine, and today I’m honored to represent you in the Department of Management.I’m a determined and outgoing person—sometimes a bit annoying because I never stop talking—but I always try to channel this trait into solving any problem.
I love meeting new people and hearing their stories and ideas. For any suggestions or questions—whether about management, changing courses, life in residence, or anything else—please don’t hesitate to contact me!
Management Department
The Department of Management is the body responsible for coordinating the faculty involved in courses related to business management, strategy, organization, and entrepreneurship. It comprises the Department Director, the program coordinators, and all professors in these areas. The Department meets to discuss and define the curriculum offerings, examination procedures, and guidelines for pedagogical development. The student representative takes part in these meetings by proposing improvement initiatives, gathering feedback from fellow students, and collaborating with course and class representatives to ensure effective teaching and transparent exam processes.
